The Old Man is Dead – Now What? (2 Co 5:17)

2nd Corinthians 5:17 God’s Word says : Therefore, If any man be in Christ he is a new creature , old things are passed away behold all things become new .

Once we give are lives to Christ Jesus the bad things we use to like to do, we no longer want to do. And the Godly life we despised or didn’t like is now our priority. Amen! I was having my son practice this song with me. This is one of the songs I sing in the Texas prisons. The name of the song is, “The Old Man is Dead”. This is the song God used to break me down in prison.

When I first heard this song in a church service, when I was doing time in prison , it brought me to tears and before my knees, bowing to my Savior Jesus Christ. My life has never been the same since I heard this song. Now I sing this song when I visit the prisoners but I usually take my guitar. I want my son to learn this song with me and be a team in the Texas prisons, singing for the glory of God. Here is our first time practicing this song together and it was a blessing doing this with my son. All Glory to God .
